Kshetra Sangeetam Thanjavur, is a book bundled with a download code for a carnatic music album, compiled and published by Jayshrree S Mani - based on a thematic concert series conceptualized by Dr.Vijayalakshmy Subramaniam. Each concert in this series covers a collection of songs about a specific Kshetra; In addition a scholar is invited to speak about the historic significance and ethos of each Kshetra prior to the concert.In order to share the concert experience with a wider audience, the scholars articles, the music, the lyrics and meanings of the songs have been presented in a very artistic compilation with beautiful water colours of the temples of Thanjavur and the composers.
